How do tenants pay?

You can prompt a tenant's phone with an M-Pesa STK push, or they can pay your paybill directly using their unit number as the account. Either way BomaSuite matches the payment to the right lease, marks the bill paid and issues a receipt automatically.

Can I bill water and electricity by consumption?

Yes. Record the opening reading when a tenant moves in, then update readings each month — manually by your caretaker or automatically from a smart meter. BomaSuite calculates consumption and bills it as its own votehead.

What about internet that not everyone takes?

Optional services are opt-in per lease. If internet is provided by a third party or only some tenants subscribe, you bill only those who take it — so every statement matches what the tenant actually owes.

I'm an agency managing for several landlords. Does that work?

Yes. Landlords list their complexes with your agency, and your team manages them on their behalf — each landlord's data kept separate. The Pro / Agency plan is built exactly for this.
